Job summary

Hargrove in Beaumont, CA is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer, PE with 3+ years of industrial experience to lead complete mechanical designs for a range of projects. The role requires applying design standards, piping concepts, and cost-conscious solutions while working under general supervision in our Beaumont office.

You will perform stress analyses, prepare calculations and drawings, review vendor submittals, assist drafting, and coordinate with design leaders to ensure on-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE) is required.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of design standards and codes related to piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with design standards and piping materials.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce detailed design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Assist drafting group to resolve layout problems and provide sketches/details.
• Review vendor drawings and other discipline inputs for mechanical coordination.
• On-site startup support and field data gathering.
