Stellar Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the design of modular chiller plants (MCPs). You will review specifications, perform mechanical calculations, and coordinate with clients, fabrication, and other disciplines to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or chemical engineering (ABET) with 5+ years in modular chiller/HVAC design. On-site work in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX with up to 20% travel is expected.

Formación

• ABET-accredited BS in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in modular chiller plant, power plant, or HVAC design.
• Experience selecting pumps, chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, etc.
• Familiar with piping design, materials, class specifications, and valve selection.
• Knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and coordinate across disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage mechanical engineers and design engineers.
• Undertake engineering and design work independently.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of all engineering outputs.
• Prepare and review mechanical specs and control documents for projects.
• Provide technical leadership in vendor meetings and bid evaluations.
• Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities as needed.
