Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to develop, program, and integrate control systems for our modular chillers. You will focus on PLC logic, HMI development, and robust network communication with BMS/EPMS.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in PLC programming and experience with Rockwell or Siemens platforms, plus familiarity with field startup and travel to client sites. Jacksonville-based role with no telecommuting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years PLC programming/automation experience.
• Experience with PLCs (Rockwell/Siemens) and HMI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and test PLC-based control systems for modular chillers.
• Design HMI screens for on-site monitoring and control.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and networks (Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Assist startup and field commissioning, travel up to 10%.
