Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical contributions for conceptual and preliminary design of new advanced concepts.
• Develop launcher capsule support equipment and oversee avionics and airframe design.
• Contribute to trade studies, architecture development, and system engineering.
• Demonstrate ethics and innovation in design processes.
• Operate in an advanced design environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Transition innovative solutions for US strategic deterrence programs.
• Evaluate mechanical designs and validate compliance with standards.
• Support delivery of Mechanical Systems Design Technical Data Packages.
