Job summary

BrightHire Search Partners is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead new product development across consumer and commercial products. You will drive cross-functional execution of the roadmap, supervise a six-person team, and ensure products are developed, validated, and launched on schedule.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a Chemistry-related field.
• 7+ years' experience in new product development.
• Experience with instrumentation systems and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with CAD 3D Modeling Software.
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team of engineers on multiple projects.
• Mechanical Engineering skills with FEA, DFMEA, CFD, and simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the New Product Development team in all aspects of new product introduction to deliver against the product roadmap.
• Establish and maintain a phased NPD process with defined deliverables from internal stakeholders, including performance metrics across functions.
• Develop and maintain tools to track and communicate all aspects of product and product-introduction changes, accounting for evolving configurations and customer requirements.
• Facilitate regular production meetings to coordinate interactions, communicate status, capture and ensure schedule commitments are met, and identify barriers for action and elevation.
• Maintain rolling action item lists focused on barrier removal, accountability, and process efficiency.

We are searching for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead new Product Development. This role drives cross-functional execution of the product roadmap, ensuring new products are effectively developed, validated, and launched. This six-person team works on a variety of mechanical, electro-mechanical, controls, and software challenges within consumer and commercial products.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the New Product Development team in all aspects of new product introduction to deliver against the product roadmap
