Responsibilities

  • Lead product development projects throughout the entire lifecycle from concept to launch.

  • Identify risks, implement mitigations, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead cross-functional product development initiatives from concept through commercialization in the Research Triangle Extended Market area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can successfully drive projects from idea to market launch.

This candidate will combine strong engineering expertise with project leadership skills to deliver innovative solutions, improve processes, and collaborate across multiple business functions.

  • Strong understanding of product design principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with CAD software and technical design tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
  • Project management certification.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training/certification.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and engineering specifications.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) initiatives and product launches.
