Techtronic Industries - TTI seeks a Project Leader – New Product Development to drive mid-to-high complexity product initiatives from concept through mass production. You will own the technical scope, steer design decisions, and coordinate cross-functional teams with accountability for delivery and cost.

The role emphasizes cost and schedule targets, escalation when needed, and strong leadership to unite sourcing, manufacturing, and product management across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Results driven and deadline orientated. Ability to manage projects with extreme ownership to aggressive schedules and results. Ability to handle fast paced, and agile culture. Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities.
• Excellent problem identification and resolution skills
• Experience working on cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and performance targets during project execution.
• Establishes and reinforces strong culture within project team.
• Recognizes when escalation is needed, then effectively escalates to leadership.
• Creates and tracks schedules and facilitates and documents project meetings.
• Consistently visualizes entire scope of a project with very little guidance.
• Effectively tracks project risks,
• Leads tradeoff discussions with product management and other cross-functional team members.
• Demonstrates effective negotiation skills to reach a compromise when needed.
• Presents project updates, risks, and business cases to leadership.
• Ensures component delivery via close coordination with US/Asia sourcing and supply chain teams.
• Coordinates build readiness planning throughout the development process with cross-functional departments.
