Job summary

Dewberry’s Nashville office seeks a Mechanical Discipline/Department Manager to lead and grow our MEPS team on private, public, and federal projects. You will provide operational and technical guidance, mentor designers, and partner with the Business Unit Manager to implement growth strategies.

In this role you will supervise allocation of resources, set design standards, support business development, and ensure quality client service.

Qualifications

• Accomplished mechanical engineer/PE with 15+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of mechanical systems.
• Experience with technical oversight of multiple projects and team growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical technical guidance/leadership to complete proposals and assign the appropriate resources.
• Assist Project/Client Managers by providing a design team to meet client desires and budgets; participate in multidisciplinary sales efforts.
