Job summary

Dewberry's Nashville, TN office is seeking an MEPS Infrastructure Department Manager to grow the Infrastructure group, develop business, and lead the design team to meet client goals and budgets.

The role requires a PE license or reciprocity within six months, 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, and strong leadership and project management skills to oversee staff and multiple disciplines including power systems, MV design, water/wastewater electrical systems, and SCADA design.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure within six months in the posting state.
• 10+ years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in power system studies, electrical medium voltage distribution design, water & waste-water electrical design, and/or SCADA design.
• Experience in designing electrical systems and BIM/Revit documentation.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; staff management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the MEPS Infrastructure Department staff across four disciplines: Power System Studies, Electrical Distribution and MV Design, Water & Waste-Water Electrical Design, and SCADA Design.
• Grow, mentor, and evaluate staff; conduct annual evaluations for direct reports.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership for MEPS staff; ensure project and department budgets and schedules are met.
• Recruitment and development of discipline staff; manage workload and provide cost estimates.
• Maintain standards, quality, and adherence to project scope and schedule.
