ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Deer Park, NY to lead the mechanical development and modernization of food packaging machinery.

You will design, prototype, test, and document sanitary, high‑throughput equipment, collaborating with Electrical, Controls, and Manufacturing teams while mentoring junior engineers. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of packaging machinery experience, and proficiency with Inventor; knowledge of 3‑A/USDA sanitary design is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in packaging machinery.
• Proficiency with Inventor and CAD modeling.
• Familiarity with sanitary/hygienic design and FDA/3‑A standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for new and redesigned packaging machinery.
• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings; perform tolerance analyses.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Controls, and Manufacturing teams.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and FAT/SAT support.
