Job summary

ProMach is seeking a seasoned Process Design & Engineering professional to develop PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances for dairy and food processing systems. You will design fluid systems, size equipment, and create manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Lead engineering activities from concept to commissioning, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while delivering cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years in process engineering for food & beverage or dairy systems.
• Strong knowledge of heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermal processes.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools including SolidWorks and AutoCAD; familiarity with process simulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Design and layout fluid process systems and mechanical solutions using SolidWorks 3D.
• Size and specify process equipment (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, CIP, pasteurizers, filtration).
• Lead process engineering activities for projects from concept through commissioning and site startup.
