Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Flight Systems Engineering and Integration team seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to define mechanical interface controls, release drawings, and coordinate design solutions with cross-functional teams. You will develop the mechanical interface baseline and present designs to customers.

Required: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field, 5+ years’ experience, U.S. citizenship, active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required; Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.

Responsibilities

• Define mechanical interface controls and release integration assembly drawings.
• Coordinate design solutions with Flight Systems product teams.
• Develop the mechanical interface baseline and present designs to customers.
