Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. through its subsidiary Upland Mechanical, is seeking a Project Manager, Construction (Mechanical) in Columbus, OH to oversee commercial mechanical projects. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, coordinate with estimators, preconstruction, scheduling, purchasing, and field supervision, and ensure safety and timely delivery.

You will also drive risk management, report to executives, and maintain strong client relations to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Ten years direct and independent experience in managing large commercial construction projects.
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution aligned with company mission and values.
• Oversee all aspects of the assigned project through completion.
• Drive risk mitigation and cost control to meet budgets and schedules.
• Provide timely reports to executives on project status and performance.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, scheduling, purchasing, and field teams to achieve milestones.
• Maintain a safe work environment and conduct toolbox talks and site safety audits.
• Communicate with clients and partners to ensure satisfaction and project success.
