Job summary

Upland Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Construction (Mechanical) to support the Project Manager and team on commercial and government projects in Columbus, OH.

The role requires coordinating schedules, documents, and field activities to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction, a related degree, and strong MS Office/AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of project documentation and regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in driving project flow from inception to completion.
• Assist with project document control, including insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFI’s, change orders.
• Ensure documents are saved in project document control system.
• Attend meetings and coordinate scheduling, deliveries, and subcontractor coordination.
• Assist field personnel in closeout and obtain as-builts.
