Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Assembler to provide technical leadership for the mechanical assembly operations supporting switchgear and power distribution products. The role combines hands-on assembly with coaching, training, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, supporting complex assemblies, training staff, and driving continuous improvement to ensure quality and on-time production.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with hand/power tools and torque equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical assembly operations.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Mentor and train assemblers on standards and procedures.
• Lead problem-solving and Kaizen activities in assembly.
• Support daily production goals and coordinate workflow.
• Promote first-pass quality and continuous improvement.
