Job summary

Global Medical Response invites applicants for an Automotive Technician/Auto Mechanic at ProAuto Care and Collision. Perform high quality repairs and maintenance for retail and fleet vehicles, in a fast-paced, customer-focused shop environment.

This role requires problem solving, teamwork, good communication, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. ASE certifications are a plus, and the wage range is $25–$30 per hour depending on credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Two or more years of experience.
• Working knowledge of standard shop equipment and tools.
• ASE or other certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting / diagnosing and testing vehicles while recording findings so vehicle can be repaired correctly the first time
• Providing labor and parts estimates for additional repairs
• Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers
• Learning new technical information and techniques, as well as staying current with rapidly changing technology.

Job Responsibilities

Perform high quality work in a timely manner as assigned and according to work orders while adhering to automotive industry standards.

• Inspecting / diagnosing and testing vehicles while recording findings so vehicle can be repaired correctly the first time
• Providing labor and parts estimates for additional repairs
• Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers
• Learning new technical information and techniques, as well as staying current with rapidly changing technology.

Job Requirements

Must be a problem solver who is team-oriented, flexible, has great communication skills and is focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
