Job summary

Global Medical Response in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Mechanic to retrieve vehicles due for service and perform mechanical and electrical repairs, aimed at reducing downtime for our crews and patients. The goal is to deliver a clean, mechanically sound vehicle inside and out, meeting high standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Preferred ASE, HOWEVER, must be obtained within the firsts year of employment.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field whenrequested.

• $30.00 per hour or more based on experience! annualized starting compensation range.
• Total annualized compensation depends on qualifications, and experience.

Position Summary:

The Mechanic role is responsible for retrieving vehicles due for service or repair, with the goal of reducing down time and increasing the quality and delivery of our services to the crews and our patients. The delivered produ ct is a clean, mechanically sound vehicle inside and out. It is important that the product produced is maintained to the highest standard.
