Job summary

Mathnasium LLC is seeking a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor to guide and mentor students, delivering individualized instruction in a group setting and using the Mathnasium Method. This part-time role offers after-school and weekend hours, a supportive culture, ongoing training, and curriculum support.

You will assess student progress, communicate with parents, become proficient with digital materials, and collaborate with a team to transform students’ understanding of math.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method and practices.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
