Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking educators to deliver individualized math instruction after school and on weekends. You will lead sessions, assess progress, and communicate with parents while using Mathnasium teaching methods across in-center, online, or hybrid formats.

Ideal candidates have a strong math background (Algebra I or higher), excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students from 2nd through 12th grade. Training and curriculum tools are provided.

Qualifications

Passion for math and helping students succeed.
Excellent interpersonal skills for communicative teaching.
Willingness to learn and be trained in Mathnasium methods.
Strong math competency through Algebra I at minimum.
Ability to balance leadership with instructional duties.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach with the team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
Assess students’ progress and engagement during sessions.
Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.
Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid using Mathnasium methods.
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
