Job summary

Mathnasium in the United States seeks a part-time tutor to deliver Mathnasium Method instruction to 2nd–12th grade students. The role emphasizes collaborative coaching, assessing progress, and communicating with parents.

You will teach in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery, using Mathnasium materials, and support a safe, engaging learning environment. Training and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong interest in helping students understand math.
• Excellent communication and ability to connect with children and parents.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in Mathnasium methods.
• Demonstrated math competency through Algebra I or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work with a team to deliver instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents.
• Teach in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery using Mathnasium methods.
• Become proficient with digital materials and processes.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
