Krazan & Associates, Inc. in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Lab Supervisor to join our full-time team.

We are looking for a qualified Lab Supervisor or Experienced Lab Technician to lead in a dynamic materials testing environment. You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to ASTM, AASHTO, and Caltrans standards, maintain accurate documentation, and mentor lab staff while coordinating with field teams and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction materials testing lab.
• Proficient in Caltrans testing methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• NICET and ACI Certifications required, including Masonry, Concrete Level 1, and Aggregate/Soils techs.
• DOT certifications a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the materials testing laboratory.
• Perform and supervise lab testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates per ASTM, AASHTO, and Caltrans specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and detailed project records.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, DSA, and DOT certification standards.
• Manage and calibrate testing equipment, ensuring quality and safety.
• Lead and mentor lab staff to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
• Coordinate with field teams and project managers to support testing needs.
