Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the Materials Testing and Laboratory Operations within its geotechnical and environmental services.

You will mentor a team, oversee projects and reporting, develop proposals, and drive marketing efforts to grow client relationships and the department's profitability. This senior role requires a strong background in construction materials testing and a commitment to quality, safety, and client service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ years experience in Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience.
• If driving for ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
• US Military ranks E-6/E-7/O-2/O-3 qualify if education, certification and licenses are met.

Responsibilities

• This position requires a commitment to supervising the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on marketing and business development.
• May oversee and lead the materials testing and all laboratory operations
• Lead and mentor a team, oversee projects, perform report reviews, prepare proposals, manage departmental P&L, and assist senior staff in marketing services by maintaining client interactions.
