Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience performing laboratory tests on construction and geotechnical materials.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Certification by qualified national, regional or state authorities (ACI, NICET, DOT) or in-house certification is required in areas such as concrete, aggregates, soil and rock, or road and paving materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates or manages the activities of a Construction or Geotechnical materials laboratory to ensure safe, timely testing in accordance with quality protocols.
• Oversees training and utilization of laboratory staff and maintains equipment cleanliness and calibration.
• Ensures testing services align with project requirements, quality standards, and company policies; coordinates inter-departmental activities as needed.
• Maintains the laboratory area, safety practices, and proper organization of testing processes and personnel.
