Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC Lab and field-testing efforts for asphalt, concrete, and aggregates across road and infrastructure projects. You will manage a team of lab technicians, ensure materials meet safety and performance specs, and coordinate with DOTs and external labs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years in QC, strong knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO standards, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years in quality control.
• Strong knowledge of construction material testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO).
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Experience using lab equipment including nuclear gauges in lab/field settings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily lab activities and supervise technicians and equipment/supply needs.
• Oversee and conduct lab testing on asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
• Design and submit mix designs for asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
• Perform field testing including core sampling and density testing.
• Manage material certifications for internal and external clients.
• Serve as main contact for DOTs, city/county agencies, and independent labs.
• Advise supervisors on test results and alert on deficiencies.
• Provide technical data to sales and clients and maintain documentation.
