Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks a experienced materials engineer to lead analytical methods, material evaluations, failure investigations, and qualification activities for Li-ion battery materials.

You will coordinate cross-functional and supplier projects, mentor engineers, and leverage manufacturing data to drive improvements in product performance, quality, and manufacturability across the battery manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in materials, chemical, mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience; master's degree and 6+ years preferred.
• Expertise in materials characterization and failure analysis.
• Experience with analytical methods and statistical tools.
• Experience with supplier collaboration and project management.
• Ability to mentor engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
