Job summary

Amtrak in New Castle, Delaware, invites applications for a senior Inventory Management role tied to a multi-year transformational project. You will administer and reconcile cycle inventory, monitor levels, and ensure record integrity across maintenance and logistics operations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6+ years of experience, strong SAP/EWM/ECC knowledge, and proven leadership in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the receiving, warehousing, issuing and distribution of materials for maintenance and logistics support.
• Review and monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed.
• Implement and facilitate Corporate Policy/Procedures for material management, scheduling, shipping, and warehouse operations.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist the Manager in training related systems (Exacta, SAP, Safety, CFR-49).
