Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada in Arden Hills, MN, is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor staff, assist supervisors, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations. You will run forklifts and other equipment, keep work areas clean, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires a valid forklift certification, 12+ months warehouse experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Must be 18 years or older; able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new material handlers and fill in for supervisors as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets) safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Support Staples Supply Chain as part of delivering to customers.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
