Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a Lead Material Handler in Minnesota to oversee daily material flow, coordinate receiving, replenishment, and delivery to assembly lines. You will train staff, track inventory, and partner with quality to resolve material issues.

The role requires leadership in a manufacturing environment, forklift operation, and experience with Oracle/Ultriva/ERP systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Oracle and Ultriva systems.
• Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning technology.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, materials management, logistics, or production support processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily material handling activities including receiving, replenishment, and delivery to assembly lines.
• Provide direction, training, and instruction to material handling associates.
• Monitor incoming materials and inventory flow to support production schedules.
• Ensure assembly lines receive materials accurately and on time.
• Lead daily team huddles and improvement discussions.
• Collaborate with department leaders to support workflow and priorities.
• Utilize Oracle, Ultriva, ERP systems, and barcode scanning for tracking.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
