Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a driven Material Handler in Minnesota to receive, store, and move parts and steel. You will operate forklift/crane, verify purchases, entry data in Oracle, and participate in inventories while maintaining accurate pallet and dock processes.

The role requires experience with forklift operations, English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experienced and licensed forklift operator.
• Valid driver’s license, DOT medical card and ability to drive Life Fitness straight truck.
• Proficient computer skills including email and keyboard/mouse.
• Basic math, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to communicate in English (read, write, speak).
• Previous similar role experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, store and stage materials.
• Operate forklift and crane.
• Inspect quality of incoming product; return rejected parts to vendor.
• Receive incoming parts and verify to purchase order.
• Perform data entry in Oracle.
• Report shortages/overages; complete forms as necessary.
• Unload raw steel and organize steel in steel room.
• Arrange docking for trucks to unload per policy.
• Tag and count containers per CTPAT.
• Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Maintain pallet inventory for production orders.
