Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Lead Material Handler in McMinnville, OR to direct daily team activities and maintain operational efficiency in hazardous materials processing. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, manage container movements, and mentor junior staff to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks across CSB/ADA, TRB, Bulk Ramp and TSDF areas, handling spills, creating maintenance work orders, and communicating with supervisors to meet

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum two years hazardous material processing/handling experience.
• Minimum one year heavy equipment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned area while maintaining operation efficiencies.
• Lead and coordinate team activities across processing areas (CSB/ADA, TRB, Bulk Ramp, TSDF).
• Interface with other leads to achieve goals and resolve problems.
• Respond to spills and manage waste in the work area.
