Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Waste Materials Handler at a semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, operate mobile and fixed equipment, and ensure proper containment and labeling of waste streams.

Responsibilities include maintaining area efficiency, coordinating with team leads, handling spills, and completing logs and reports. A high school diploma and hazmat handling experience are required; heavy equipment experience preferred;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years hazardous material processing/handling.
• Minimum one year heavy equipment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned area while maintaining operation efficiencies.
• Lead and coordinate team member activities to achieve goals.
• Interface with Lead Material Handlers to achieve team goals.
• Operate forklift, backhoe, rolloff truck and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Prepare logs and reports for tracking purposes.
• Respond to spills as required.
