Saint-Gobain seeks a Lead Master Data Analyst to join the Region Finance Team within the Global Business Solutions group. You will own end-to-end master data processes, drive data integrity, and collaborate with MDM leadership and operations to deliver priorities using automation and controls.
The role emphasizes internal controls, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across SAP and QAD platforms, focusing on risk mitigation, reporting, and cross-functional partnership.
The Lead Master Data Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager of Master Data and is part of the Region Finance Team's Global Business Solutions group. The role supports the end-to-end master data process by leveraging automation tools, compliance and audit procedures, and enforcement of data integrity transformation. The role plays a pivotal part in working closely with MDM leadership and operations teams to deliver on MDM priorities and the business. The Lead Master Data Analyst will assist in the implementation of tools or services that address challenges and drive business success and will work closely with regional compliance and audit teams to make sure our processes align with internal control requirements (including trade compliance) and any future initiatives in this space. The position will also coordinate on various MDM, GBS or organizational wide projects as needed.
-Lead MDM internal controls process management for vendor and customer master domains; coordinate GBS internal controls to mitigate risks as specified in the Internal Control Framework Reference document. Contribute to assessment of controls for MDM for the annual Compliance Statement and Security / Access Review process.
-Contribute to the analysis and identify risks in accordance with ICRF and implement controls to mitigate risks. Assist with monitoring related controls and take any remedial action as required.
-Perform monthly, quarterly and annual audit process steps to make sure all MDM operations within the region comply to company requirements. Make recommendations to improve audit process including reporting, automation and documentation related areas.
-Ensure documentation and audit requirements for all current processes are completed, validated for accuracy and fits for purpose.
-Lead the process for mass screening of vendors and customers through the trade compliance tool working with business key users and trade compliance teams on validation and completeness.
-Provide advanced level support to business users and processing teams for troubleshooting workflow or downstream issues.
-Assist in process management, mining and operational improvement processes
-Assist with reporting and analytics to support MDM team and business key users including digital tools, workflow management and MDM solutions.
-Identify and make recommendations for process enhancements, and implementation of modifications and enhancements.
-Perform assessment activities and works with other information systems personnel to determine feasibility of development of enhancements or modifications to workflows, processes and S/4 HANA preparations.
-Lead continuous improvement efforts by making recommendations for relevant data initiatives, benchmarking, tools, and methodologies and executing key process improvement activities. Stays updated on current trends and industry best practices for data management and data governance
-Maintain knowledge with respect to all ancillary systems that interact with SAP, QAD, and master data platforms/workflows.
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is required
-7+ years of professional experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Internal Audit or Support Functions with 4+ years in master data management-
-Proficient in communication and presentation at all levels of the organization
-Experience in large, complex organizations-
