Saint-Gobain is seeking a Reporting and Analytics Specialist to join the Human Resources Technology Team. The role focuses on HR data harmonization, standardization, and development of automated reports during the Workday transition, with emphasis on recurring and ad hoc reporting and dashboards.
You will collaborate with HR and cross-functional partners to ensure data quality, governance, and actionable insights, helping leadership make informed decisions while maintaining compliance.
The Human Resources Technology Team is seeking a Reporting and Analytics Specialist to join our growing team. This position will collaborate primarily with Human Resources, but also across business functions to manage operational reporting, drive HR data harmonization and standardization in the US & Canada while ensuring compliance, and make recommendations for improved data quality and accessibility. The role is also responsible for the development and automation of standard HR data reports and will support our current transition to Workday. This includes an emphasis on executing recurring and ad hoc reporting deliverables and support the build of dashboards.

Essential functions include:
Building reliable, accurate, and cross-matched reports for data research, troubleshooting, and data audits
Owning recurring HR reporting deliverables (e.g., monthly/quarterly reports, scorecards, compliance and ad-hoc reporting), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistent definitions
Partnering with stakeholders to gather and document reporting and analytics requirements (business questions, measures, calculations, filters, security, and refresh cadence) and translate them into clear functional/user specifications
Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs. Provides feedback and user/technical specifications regarding the design of reports and dashboards for leadership
Providing insight into what HR data is telling us by identifying trends, drivers, and outliers; developing narratives and recommendations that enable data-driven decisions
Performing basic analytics (trend and variance analysis, root-cause exploration) to interpret HR metrics and support data-driven recommendations
Developing and maintaining KPI definitions and data dictionaries to ensure consistent interpretation and adoption across teams
Performing analysis of data gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to recommend solutions
Researching and troubleshooting data issues to ensure data quality. Develops and maintains data dictionaries and documentation
Supporting the development and implementation of HR data governance frameworks, policies and best practices
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with data quality standards and governance protocols; Encourage the protection of sensitive and personal data by advocating for ethical AI and compliance with relevant data protection regulations
Conducting regular data quality audits and implement corrective measures
Contributing to the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata documentation
Analyzing and validating HR data sets to ensure accuracy and consistency, working with local teams/HR as required
Participating in activities related to data migration and integration efforts related to M&A
Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, HR, or Data Science is strongly preferred
A combination of education and equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum of three years working in HR data management or similar role with progressive responsibilities, including experience with SaaS solutions (Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.)-
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements-
Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Business and system analysis skills
HR domain knowledge and experience
Technology aptitude and learning ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including conflict resolution
HR Software experience (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) including application support, systems administration, configuration, and security administration
Position requires strong collaboration skills, proactively partnering across the organization
Attention to detail, process orientation, and ability to provide detailed documentation required-
