Auto Plus in Atlanta, GA seeks a Master Technician with leadership to diagnose drivability, A/C and electrical systems, and to mentor the team while delivering superior customer service.

The role involves direct customer interaction, explaining problems and recommended repairs, while staying current through formal training and shop teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8+ ASE certifications are PREFERRED for this position (A1 through A8).
• Section 609 Certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• High level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment and A/C systems.
• Perform duties of lower technician levels when needed.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Pursue ongoing training to stay current with auto technology.
• Assist other technicians with technical tasks.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and clean shop.
• Follow all company policies, safety and environmental rules.
