Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4 or more ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5 plus 2 from: A1, A6, A7, A8, L1).
• Section 609 certification required
• State Inspection license if applicable
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Pre-employment background check required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Perform duties of lower Technician roles as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff clearly.
• Pursue ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Assist other technicians in technical tasks.
• Keep management informed of repair issues as they arise.
• Maintain an organized, clean shop and follow company safety rules.
