Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a Learning & Development professional for 2nd shift training initiatives to accelerate onboarding and ongoing staff development. You will implement training programs, ensure adherence to SOPs, and drive efficiency and accuracy across manufacturing processes.

The role partners with Operations to coach new hires, provide feedback to Supervisors, and maintain a Coach/Mentor mindset to lift performance.

Qualifications

2-3 years of Lead, Assistant Supervisor or Leadership experience.
2-3 years of Technician Experience on machines used within or outside of Manufacturing, with a proven record of how to ensure equipment reaches and maintains optimum output.
1-2 years of training/teaching experience or equivalent combination of education/work experience.

Responsibilities

Key point of contact for inner-departmental new hires and new hire training.
Enforce departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
Coach and train staff to improve department efficiencies and profitability.
Work with Operations to implement Learning & Development policies and programs to meet goals.
Provide ongoing feedback to Learning & Development and Supervisors on progress of new staff.
Establish a Coach/Mentor mindset with new hires and maintain a positive attitude.
Assist in optimizing downtime and training employees on processing equipment.
