Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. seeks a Training Supervisor to lead cross-training across manufacturing lines, ensure safety and procedural compliance, and partner with Learning and Development to tailor training plans.

This role emphasizes coaching, auditing, and developing peer trainers, with a focus on maintaining proficiency across paths. The position requires the ability to work various shifts, strong math and MS Office skills, and experience in designing or delivering training

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or training position.
• Leadership/supervisory and training experience preferred.
• Must be able and willing to work any shift and overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be proficient in basic math.
• Experience designing and developing training courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross train operators in assigned department using JSAs, EOPs and SOPs.
• Ensure employees follow safety requirements, procedures and policies.
• Assess employee proficiency via structured evaluations to confirm training and safety.
• Partner with Learning and Development Leadership to identify training needs and plans.
• Train, coach and audit peer trainers.
• Complete standard work and daily checklists on time and to standard.
• Monitor learning hours and ensure area readiness for training.
• Escalate barriers to Learning and Development Supervisor/Manager.
• Rotate through training paths weekly to maintain proficiency.
• Document audits and updates for the department.
• Fill in operational paths when needed and coordinate with Learning and Development Manager.
• Spend a minimum of 5 hours per week in a process path.
• Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives with Learning and Development.
