Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in New York seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze current processes and drive efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.

You will design production workflows, tooling, and fixtures to support lean manufacturing and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in metalworking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in metalworking.
  • Understanding of materials properties for stress, temperature, and environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Design, implement, and refine production workflows, tooling, and fixtures for lean manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to troubleshoot process issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for procedures, work instructions, and equipment specifications.
  • Support CNC programming and integration with metal fabrication equipment.
  • Recommend process changes to overcome issues and improve productivity using data.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
