Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to analyze and improve manufacturing processes, design production workflows, and support lean manufacturing principles.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues and ensure safe, compliant operations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, with familiarity in materials selection and C/C++ embedded systems;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, metalworking environment preferred.
  • Understanding of materials properties for stress, temperature, and environment.
  • Strong project management: planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordinating resources.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to work across all organizational levels.
  • Experience with C/C++ for embedded systems development and real-time control of mechanical hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Design, implement, and refine production workflows, tooling, and fixtures to support lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and equipment specifications.
  • Support the integration and programming of CNC machines and metal fabrication equipment and recommend new technologies or equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Recommend process and operational changes to overcome process issues, avoid deviations, and improve productivity by analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.
