Job summary

Precision Power Solutions (PPS), a division of EnerSys, seeks a Manufacturing Technician III Lead to guide a skilled technician team on complex production activities. This role partners with operations and engineering in a fast-paced environment, requiring hands-on fabrication, assembly, inspection, and continuous improvement leadership.

You will ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery while mentoring staff, maintaining safety, and driving problem-solving using lean methods.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• Prior experience leading, coordinating, or mentoring technicians.
• IPC-610 soldering expertise required; IPC-610/ IPC-620 certification preferred.
• Experience reading schematics and performing electromechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing technicians and foster a positive, accountable culture.
• Coordinate daily production, assign tasks, and align with schedules.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure material readiness for production.
• Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues to engineering or quality teams.
• Create planning visuals and provide management with progress updates.
• Train and coach technicians; promote Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
