Job summary

EnerSys's Precision Power Solutions division seeks a Manufacturing Technician Lead to guide a technical production team on the Largo, FL floor. The role emphasizes hands-on soldering, assembly, testing, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, mentor technicians, ensure AS9100 traceability practices, and maintain safety and quality standards while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring technicians.
• IPC-610 soldering standards knowledge.
• Experience with complex electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing technicians and foster a positive, accountable culture.
• Coordinate daily production activities and align with schedules.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to confirm material readiness.
• Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues to engineering/quality.
• Create planning visuals for reports and management.
