Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for Maneuvers to direct a small team responsible for full lifecycle manufacturing of vehicle-based and large ground systems. This role requires deep expertise in mechanical integration, electrical/avionics install, and cross-functional leadership.

You will set manufacturing strategy, establish tooling and vendor relationships, and drive rapid execution across diverse programs while ensuring quality and sustainment continuity.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 6+ years in manufacturing engineering or hardware production.
• Experience delivering large mechanical assemblies and complex hardware.
• Proven direct team leadership on hardware programs.
• Experience taking hardware from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~4-5 manufacturing engineers for development and production units.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from SRR through productionization and sustainment.
• Set portfolio manufacturing strategy across low-rate and high-volume programs.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability with design engineers early in concept phases.
• Act as SME for vehicle-level integration and powertrain interfaces.
• Own documentation stack: MBOMs, work instructions, procedures, and QA artifacts.
• Develop production and test methodologies for mixed-volume programs.
