Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to apply manufacturing principles and drive operational decisions on the shop floor. The role emphasizes project work, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to company policies while supporting weekend projects when needed.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with manufacturing experience, and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of product manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence, design and develop processes on the manufacturing floor and knowledge about fabrication of fixtures, jigs and other assembly aids.
• Assist with creation of flow charts, PFMEA’s and product control plans and other documentation as needed.
• Drive Lean principles and continuous improvement activities on production floor: improve processes, reduce waste, 5S.
• Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
• Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
• Lead or facilitate value stream mapping (VSM) events to identify waste and prioritize improvement opportunities across the value stream
