Job summary
GE Vernova in Clearwater, FL is seeking a manufacturing/process engineer to support growth initiatives, including capacity expansions, safety improvements, Lean, Cost Out and productivity projects across manufacturing operations. You will partner with EHS to eliminate hazards, define production processes, procure equipment, and drive VCP/NPI/TOW projects, applying Lean to deliver measurable improvements.
A BA/BS in Engineering and 2 years of manufacturing experience are required; bilingual
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Two years of manufacturing experience required.
Responsibilities
- Identify processes or equipment to eliminate safety hazards with EHS.
- Define and control production processes, including tooling and equipment; validate designs.
- Specify and procure new equipment and tooling to meet production, quality and growth needs.
- Develop and implement VCP projects and ensure successful completion.
- Support NPI and TOW projects and related equipment.
- Identify opportunities to automate or improve processes with production teams.
- Apply Lean tools and methodologies to drive innovations and improvements.
