Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to support the development of classified component manufacturing techniques for Next Generation engine programs. You will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs and help maturation of the value stream.

Role requires cross-functional leadership, Lean mindset, and collaboration with Technicians and Engineering on the shop floor. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience) in quality systems.
• Experience with AS9100 / NADCAP or related quality frameworks preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen without Dual Citizenship and able to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in development of manufacturing processes for classified hardware.
• Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact.
• Drive rigor for project documentation and lessons learned.
• Make data-driven recommendations using quality tools.
• Protect GE Intellectual Property rights.
• Lead by example and model teamwork across the site.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques to drive a systems mindset.
• Manage and lead manufacturing readiness projects.
