Accu-Glass LLC is seeking a hands‑on Senior Manufacturing & Automation Engineer to lead and grow the in‑house engineering team. You will manage a small group, set company‑wide engineering standards, and work with Production, Quality, and Executive Management to align projects with business objectives.

The role emphasizes hands‑on technical support, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement within a high‑precision glass manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of technical teams and cross‑functional projects.
• Extensive experience with the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation/control practices in custom machinery.
• Proficient in 3D modeling, complex assembly design, component fabrication, technical drafting, and data analysis in Excel.
• Familiar with quality systems, IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and formal engineering change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering and maintenance staff.
• Establish engineering workflows, equipment design best practices, and documentation standards.
• Provide hands‑on engineering support to resolve complex manufacturing issues on the production floor.
• Structure the department effectively to balance urgent production support and long‑term automation projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Executive Management to align engineering efforts with business goals.
