Capital One seeks a Manager, Counsel in CAST (Corporate and Strategic Transactions) to lead drafting and negotiation across high‑stakes deals, including banking transactions, intercompany agreements, and tax credit investments. You will coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel to deliver efficient, compliant outcomes.

The role demands strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills, with experience in complex transactional matters and a collaborative, high‑pace environment.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar in good standing with ability to register as Corporate Counsel in Virginia.
• At least 3 years of transactional experience in law firm, government, military judge advocate, or in-house counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing and drafting a wide range of transactions including correspondent banking, intercompany agreements, housing tax credit investments, debt sales, and confidentiality agreements.
• Conduct due diligence reviews, work with business lines, partnerships, and marketing agreements; support digital/mobile initiatives with API licenses; handle complex procurement and outsourcing contracts.
• Counsel and advise business groups on complex legal issues; implement repeatable, controlled transactional processes; coordinate outside counsel and manage costs.
