Job summary

Chemtrade in Celina, TX is seeking a Maintenance Welder Technician to support the Maintenance Manager and Lead in safely maintaining our site. The role covers welding, pipe fitting, fabrication, and equipment repairs across pumps, valves, and piping systems, with emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures.

Qualified candidates bring 8–10 years of hands-on experience in chemical/process environments, proficiency in Stick/MIG/TIG welding, and the ability to read P&ID and isometrics.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years hands-on experience in a chemical plant / refinery / process industry as a maintenance technician
• Proficient in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding; AWS certification a significant benefit
• Must pipe fit/fabricate and weld (TIG) stainless steel pipe and associated supports

Responsibilities

• Accomplish maintenance evolutions in support of the Maintenance Manager and Lead; troubleshoot and operate the plant safely and efficiently
• Plumbing, pipe fitting, install and maintain pipe systems and related equipment per blueprints
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repair gauges, valves, and regulators
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; follow operating manuals and sketches
• Lead and coordinate crew tasks; provide guidance and organize work with team members
