Job summary
GHD is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to support wastewater treatment and industrial operations on large‑scale mining and environmental projects. You will lead maintenance staff, manage CMMS, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.
The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and strong safety leadership, with collaboration across Operations and Site Management to uphold regulatory standards and achieve uptime goals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance, leadership experience.
- Experience with pumps, motors, piping, and process equipment.
- Ability to read manuals, drawings, and equipment docs.
- Strong preventive maintenance knowledge and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for wastewater plant equipment.
- Maintain CMMS, work orders, and maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, piping and process equipment.
- Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and maintain reliability.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; participate in investigations.
- Mentor technicians and participate in safety meetings.
