Job summary

HGS Bioscience is seeking a Maintenance Tech to lead day-to-day shift activities in our humic/fulvic bioprocess plant. You will support production, troubleshoot equipment, perform advanced maintenance, and uphold safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and the ability to lead teams on the floor. This on-site role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or production leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to operate safely, lead floor activities, and communicate clearly with plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support production activities across the plant.
• Provide floor leadership and direction to production employees during assigned shifts.
• Cover employee absences and assist in maintaining production continuity.
• Communicate shift updates and production status to plant leadership.
• Verify production logs, batch documentation, and records for accuracy.
• Ensure processes and work instructions are followed consistently.
• Perform pre-operational equipment inspections and verify readiness for production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with coaching, conflict resolution, and team accountability with plant leadership.
